Terms and policies

An index of the legal documents that govern Fundly, what each one covers, and how to make a complaint.

This page summarises the documents that govern your use of Fundly. The full text of each document is what applies.

Note
Fundly is not a bank. Cards are issued by [PARTNER] and the EUR IBAN account is provided by [PARTNER]. Their own terms apply as well, and you accept them separately in the web app.

Terms of Service

The contract between you and Fundly. It covers eligibility (18 or older, resident of a supported country), acceptable use, plan fees, account suspension and closure, and dispute resolution. It also states that crypto deposits are converted on arrival and that Fundly does not provide crypto custody, trading or investment services.

Privacy Policy

Explains the data we process: contact details, identity documents, device and usage data, transaction data, and blockchain data related to your deposits. It names who we share data with, including [PARTNER] and our verification provider, states retention periods (identity records are kept as long as anti-money-laundering law requires, typically 5 years after the relationship ends), and lists your GDPR rights.

AML and KYC Policy

Describes the two verification levels, the checks behind the Instant card (email, phone, country, device and sanctions screening), full verification, and when we may ask for source of funds. Instant cards have monthly limits set by our partner and regulators, and this policy explains where those limits come from.

Card Terms and Referral Terms

The cardholder agreement with [PARTNER] covers unauthorised transactions, disputes and lost cards (see Lost or stolen card). The Referral Terms set the rules and caps for referrals and cashback (see Rewards and referrals).

Making a complaint

If the in-app support chat did not resolve your problem, you can make a formal complaint.

  1. Open the in-app support chat and write Complaint at the start of your message. Include what happened, the dates, and what you would like us to do.
  2. We confirm receipt within 2 business days and give you a reference number.
  3. We send you a written response within 15 business days. Complex cases may take up to 35 business days, and we tell you if so.
  4. If your complaint concerns the card or the IBAN account, we pass it to [PARTNER] and coordinate the response. You can also complain to [PARTNER] directly.
  5. If you are not satisfied with the final response, or it is late, you can refer the matter to the financial ombudsman or regulator in the country where [PARTNER] is licensed. Contact details are in our final response.
Tip
Keep your reference number. It lets everyone involved find your case quickly.

Changes to these documents

We tell you in the web app and by email at least 30 days before material changes take effect. If you do not agree, you can close your account without a fee.

Fundly is a financial technology company, not a bank. Limits and fees described as “at launch” are proposals and may change.
