Deposit on Tron
How to deposit TRX and USDT (TRC-20) on Tron, with confirmations, fees and common mistakes.
Tron is the most used network for USDT transfers worldwide. Blocks arrive every 3 seconds and fees are low, which is why many exchanges and payment apps default to TRC-20 USDT.
Assets you can deposit
At launch Fundly accepts TRX and USDT (TRC-20) on Tron. Other TRC-20 or TRC-10 tokens sent to your address are not credited.
How to deposit
- Sign in to the Fundly web app at app.fundly.xyz and choose Deposit.
- Choose Tron as the chain and pick TRX or USDT.
- Copy your address or scan the QR code. Tron addresses are 34 characters, base58, and always start with T.
- In your wallet or exchange, choose the Tron network. Exchanges label it "TRC20" or "Tron (TRC20)".
- Paste the address, enter the amount and send.
- Wait for 19 confirmations, which marks the block as solid. This takes about 1 minute.
Confirmations and timing
| Asset | Minimum at launch | Credited after | Typical time |
|---|---|---|---|
| TRX | 10 EUR equivalent | 19 confirmations (solid block) | about 1 minute |
| USDT (TRC-20) | 10 EUR equivalent | 19 confirmations (solid block) | about 1 minute |
A block on Tron becomes solid after 19 confirmations. Fundly credits at that point.
Fees
Tron charges fees through bandwidth and energy rather than gas. If the sender has no staked energy, a USDT TRC-20 transfer typically burns 3 to 15 TRX, depending on current energy prices. Keep some TRX in the sending wallet. Fundly's deposit fee at launch depends on your plan: Free 1% (minimum 1 EUR), Plus 0.5%, Premium 0%. The rate and fee are shown in the app before every deposit.
Common mistakes
- Pasting a Tron address into an Ethereum withdrawal form or the other way round. Most exchanges reject this, but check the network label carefully.
- Sending USDT with a wallet that has no TRX for fees. The transaction fails before it is broadcast.
- Sending a TRC-10 token or a token that is not USDT. These are not credited.
- Sending less than the 10 EUR minimum. Support can recover it for a fee.
